Blockprojects presents David Band

Artist David Band holds a special place in our hearts here at Bloom. Not only is he super dooper talented, he is also a dear friend and his beautiful artwork adorns our Bloom Organics packaging. If you're lucky enough to be in Melbourne between 2nd April - 28th April, check out his latest exhibition - Miles Mode - at Blockprojects Gallery, 79 Stephenson Street, Richmond. We promise you'll fall in love!

Oh Sweden, we love you so!

The Swedes know no bounds when it comes to design, and we're obsessed with all things hailing from the global epicentre of cool, including H&M, Acne and kikki.K. So you can imagine our delight when we stumbled across Fine Little Day, a multidisciplinary Swedish art and design platform. We'll be adding a touch of Nordic design to our kitchen benches with this cutting board from the online store, with its beautiful geometric pattern. Chopping has never been so charming!

Our hearts started fluttering when our eyes landed on this video, a lovely collaboration between one of our favourite blogs, The Design Files, and one of our favourite sustainable energy creatives, Joost Bakker. Just in case you've been living under a rock, Bakker has just opened the doors to his latest completely recyclable project - Greenhouse by Joost at Sydney's Circular Quay. The design philosophy of the cafe space is simple - harmless with a positive eco-impact. Talk about inspiring!

Flicking through the glossy pages, we couldn't help but be inspired by beautiful photographs of the unconventional lives of globe-trotting artists, designers and bon vivants and their enviable jet set style. It was our go-to for inspirational images when creating our Gypsy Glamour Colour Collection, just take a peek at our mood board!
